Lionel Hampton Leo (d. August 31, 2002) a fost un american de jazz vibraphonist , pianist , percutionist , bandleader şi actor. El a fost unul dintre primii cantareti jazz vibrafon. Hampton se clasează printre numele mari din istoria jazz-ului, care au lucrat cu un Who's who de muzicieni de jazz , de la Benny Goodman şi Buddy Rich la Charlie Parker şi Quincy Jones . În 1992, el a fost introdus în Alabama Jazz Hall of Fame.
